VoiceClub is a Media-Communications company that promotes bilingualism and translation of the video web. We are inspired by Viki and Duolingo. Like Viki we create a Volunteer Translation Community. Like Duolingo we use Crowdsourcing combined with Gamification to promote language training. Other inspirations for this project are Wikipedia, TED, Word Reference, Duolingo(gamified language training) and Vimeo. This is an EdTech project from the perspective of empowering 'Anyone, to watch Any video (film, tv show or music) in Any language' however on the business side we see 3 clear monetization trends that are favorable to creating both educational and commercial value: 1) 30B USD Digital Translation Market 2) 30B USD Video Advertising Market 3) Content Syndication Deals with Netflix, Hulu and BBC World Service. Our Mission & Vision is to create a Multi-Lingual, Multi-Cultural, Multi-Platform 'Vimeo' whereby our Members do the Subtitling & Translating similarly to 'Duolingo'.
